In the cold month of January we were excited to warm the hearts of our community by building 50 dressers for families coming out of homelessness.

Bridging, Inc. is one of our Bloomington neighbors and a great community partner.

They receive donated furniture and work with social service agency's to provide that furniture to families in need.

It was great to see the smiling faces of the kids at the Ronald McDonald House.

Luther Brookdale Mazda Mitsubishi has committed to supporting the Ronald McDonald House so they can support the families of children with cancer.

The Ronald McDonald house provides a place for families to stay when their children are receiving cancer treatments.

Partnering with the Golden Valley Police to help needy families at Christmas.

 
The Golden Valley Police work with families in need to purchase Christmas presents, but they do it in a great way.

They go shopping with one of the children in the family, who gets to pick our presents for the rest of their family and the officer secretly picks out one for the child. Then they wrap all of the presents and send them home with the family to have a surprisingly wonderful Christmas.

Taking Care of kids in Haiti

 
Back in 2012, we visited a school in Haiti and met a lot of children that were being fed and learning to read and write.

Since then, we have 'adopted' one of their children and sent him school supplies, clothing, shoes, soccer balls and toys.

Using Nutritious Food to Strengthen Community

 
We are pleased to support The Food Group at their annual Hunger Bash.

The Food Group has been feeding our community for over 40 years.

They partner with 170 local food shelves and they provide grocery budget relief through their Fare For All program. Also, they provide produce farming education through their partnership with Big River Farms.

Their staff does a great job of fighting for the hungry everyday.

Honoring a local Veteran at the State Fair

 
We were pleased to partner with Wells Fargo and the Military Warrior Support Foundation to honor a local veteran with a payment free vehicle at the Minnesota State Fair.

The Mazda CX-9 looks great wrapped in the American Flag and it brought awareness to an organization that is helping veterans come home. The Military Warriors Support Foundation is taking applications from combat wounded veterans and providing them with housing and vehicle assistance.  If you know…
