Job Readiness
An important component of stability is job readiness, and reliable transportation is one of the biggest hurdles to finding and keeping a good job. We support The Lift Garage, a nonprofit aimed to move people out of poverty and homelessness by providing low-cost car repair, and free pre-purchase car inspections for low-income families.
We also enthusiastically support many automotive training programs throughout our state at the post-secondary and high school levels. Tech Trac, our student sponsorship program, assists students with the financial barriers of completing their education in automotive fields. The newly launched Luther Technical Training Center provides students with a no-cost education in an ASC-Certified program that allows students to earn while they learn.
